before i started my day, i had to educate the children on some history. y’all know i love me some be[yonce]. we go allll the way back to ‘no, no no- part 1′ . but i will say that she illustrates all the time what i always say, “the best music(audio OR video) has already been created”
all the way up to ‘deja vu’ and ‘upgrade you’, i been LOVING her, BUTTTerrrummmmm- her 2 recent singles do absolutely nothing for me. :-/ [sorry be, still love you tho!] but i will say that when i saw the ’single ladies’ video i absolutely LOVED the choreography. [*ahem* minus the gyration] kids are watching be!!!!

anywho- low and behold, i found the originator. here is Gwen Verdon Fosse in ‘Mexican Breakfast’ [Gwen Verdon is the wife of 1960s acclaimed broadway choreographer, Bob Fosse] . according to mrs. carter herself, this is [yet another] ‘tribute’.

so does that mean we can call beyonce a ‘tribute artist’ now? because this is becoming a serious HABIT. chuh….
[quick edit for be cuz i DO love u girl]- below the gwen video, i just had to include someone [my soon 2 be dance partner] who did a tribute to you… life is always full circle… enjoy!

wow! i don’t know what to say. there’s a fine line here because maybe…MAYBE B is exposing her fans to something they would not normally know about or experience but i’m finding her constant referencing other people’s stuff boring.
you know about the “if were a boy” drama? B has writing credits on a song that was apparently written and recorded by an artist named BC Jean. This has become a far too frequent practice by Team Knowles.

hmmmm, I have a different opinion. I actually am not offended by B’s gyrating… perhaps because we talked about it yesterday and I was expecting much worse, lol. But, I would rather my kids NOT see the video of the guy dancing in a bathing suit… That is something that would take me days to explain to my 3 yr. old son.
