in the midst of all the changes going on in my life, i feel compelled to write about love. i must say, i wasn’t even looking for it, yet it has somehow found my address and will not leave me alone. 
i even tried to find reasons [excuses] to turn away from all the wonderful possibilities and write it off as a temporary glitch in the universe. but… it just seems real. really real.
of course i am not going to tell you lovely readers all the details but i just had to touch on one thing in specific that i have a fetish for.
chivalry.
ah yes. how sweet it is. having doors opened for you, 5 bags carried while all you carry is a raspberry lemonade and lemon yellow clutch, being driven everywhere and catered to all the time. not having to worry about anything that isn’t frilly and pretty. getting the royal end of the stick all day every day. honey let me tell you. i been missing out and folks have been getting over. cuz what? this type of stuff does NOT exist on a regular basis. let me be the one to tell YOU.
and to think, i thought i was wrong for wanting this type of treatment. i was somehow made to think that i was being selfish and ridiculous for wanting all that adoration, pampering, and spoiling. :-/
but why?? it’s not like i don’t return the royal favor. if i treat you like my king, isn’t it only right that i be treated like a queen? hell yes!!! and guess what? kings and queens require different types of shit.
i want to feel protected, loved, and secure in every way. while you [should] want to feel ‘big’, strong, able, and proud of the empire that you built for us and our family.
call me old-fashioned but that’s the cloth i’m cut from. while we take super care of ourselves and upgrade you, we are also taken care of and upgraded in return.
don’t lower your standards and settle for less than your dream mate ladies and gents. there is one out there that wants to give exactly what you want to receive. and vice-versa.
