hi honies.. in spite of the curve balls that life keeps throwing at me, i had a great weekend. made sure i got out and enjoyed the weather even though some parts of me wanted to just stay in bed and be overwhelmed with the what ifs. what’s the point? i much rather enjoy the blessings that i have today. and i did.
in the midst of it all, i went with a friend to get an ekg and heard the medic tell her that even though she is in good health for the most part, a small part of her heart has an injury in it. he said it has probably been there for a while now. mind you- an injury, not a blockage.
kinda jokingly, i said, “she’s has a broken heart” … and then i was shocked to hear the medic say that there actually is an illness called the broken heart syndrome where, due to extreme emotional distress, the heart actually mimics a real heart attack.
ain’t that some ISH? do you know how many times my heart has been broken??? where does that leave me? i’m gonna meditate on some healing thoughts tonight.
time for bed.
nite nite~

I hope you feel better, healing is courage…check out this quote, “Healing is a matter of time, but it is sometimes also a matter of opportunity.”

very informative, thanks for the 411. I’m glad you are so open about your life. you know most people dont think heartbreak happens to beautiful people.
