a bunch of e-balling going on today.
definition: e-ball - the act of growing b*lls for the internet and ONLY for the internet. [bscott]
let’s face it, half the hateful stuff that girls and guys have said about people online, they would never actually have the nerve to say in person.
ok so, anybody who has ever read a blog of mine, knows that this is not a ‘celebrity blog site’. i’m not star-struck nor is it my passion to document what famous people are doing in hollywood, nollywood, atl, miami, or even my beloved, new york city.
my little blog is full of my favorite things…as well as the not so favorite [of course]. and it is only sometimes, that it involves a celeb.
with that said, today’s drama-gone-overboard is between 2 celebrity bloggers that have been going at it for some weeks now. *shrug* i wont mention the names of the 2 ladies on here but if you really want to know, send me a message on twitter [@elbie] and i will point you in the direction of the theatrics. in a nutshell, one of them posted some very raunchy and disrespectful trash about her colleague. frankly, it made me embarrassed to be a fellow woman of color.
i felt compelled to write this blog to discuss a point that i am always beating over the head [in my offline life]. we, as BLACK WOMEN do NOT uplift one another for SH*T. *heart breaks*
when we see someone that we PERCEIVE has it ‘all’, it seems like we immediately translate that into- “she stole it from me!” what the eff??
i’m so sick of miserable h*es that don’t know what to do with themselves, so they dedicate their lives to the full time job of ATTEMPTING to catching a spark from MY shine. go sit down you STAN.
SO glad i have a phD in green-detection. i spot y’all 5 miles away bookats. i probably even see it before you think it.
transparency is a b*tch.
