yup. today is the day that gave me life 33 years ago. *does happy dance*

when i turned 30, i remember making a promise to myself that each birthday thereafter, will mark real and DISTINCT progress in my life. as the calendar page turns on this year’s monumental occasion, i will [proudly] say that i have not broken that promise.

this time last year, i was uncomfortable, stressed, and at a major cross-road in my life. today, i have managed to turn all those situations around and allow myself the GIFT of freedom-from-useless-stress. well, all stress is useless really. it ain’t never helped anyone achieve anything all on it’s own.

this year is about DOing and MAKE-ing things happen. this year is about overcoming the fear that surrounds my heart and prevents me from being the fully beautiful person that i am supposed to be.

i can say that i have overcame the mindset, now i just have to overcome the [rest of] physical realm just as equally.

yea, my scorpio ass is cryptic [as always] but the truth shall reveal itself slowly but surely. i am AMAZED that i can actually visualize all of it as i type this right now.

anywho- after midnight rolled, i lay in bed last night and smiled at those friends & family that just couldn’t wait till sunrise to wish me a happy b’earth day <~ my friend ella typed it like that to me on FB *cheese* love it.] and to make my smile even bigger, guess what came on? ellen on Oprah!!! and coincidently [NOT] i heard what will be the mantra for my new year.

let the LOVE, overcome the fear.

my week in my [former] home [that i have disowned] was SO GREAT!!! my bff and her husband threw me a very unexpected bash on friday night and we had a ball. seriously, i was excited to be out with my folks partying like we didn’t have a care in the world. *sigh* it is so good for the spirit to get out and just let LOOSE sometimes. don’t you agree honies?

so since this is MY new year’s eve eve. [birthday is on tuesday keep-up] i am compelled to reflect and count my blessings. i am so grateful for everything in my life, especially my family [including those that happen to not be 'blood'].

to me, family isn’t just who you share your dna with. there are those that have CHOSEN me to be their sister and i truly love and appreciate you. i have to put here a very special shout out to mr & mrs chatmon for making me feel like the princess that i am. {giggle]

i am humbled, and will never forget those that go OUT OF THEIR WAY FOR ME.

those of you sometimey fools that urk me with all your inconsistencies, you will no longer have the pleasure of my presence, TRUST.
