i heard back from my baby…. they have little to NO communication over there and when it IS available, saving a life is a lot more urgent than calling or emailing. [of COURSE] *sigh* the e-mail account of what’s going on there is [once again] very disturbing… but this time, i will keep it to myself and not share any of it on my blog… [i'm sure u guys got traumatized enough by my post a couple days ago]

but *clears throat* i OFFICIALLY change the aura of gloom and doom in the air….. right effin NOW!!! im tired of this sadness and feelings of defeat. yes, tragedy struck. but NOW…. we are building UP!!!! we were victims first but guess what?????

so let’s start acting like it!!!!

i tell you boy… it’s rough out here. especially if you’re emotional like me and allergic to change. :-\ . but, it’s inevitable… u know? people change.. auras shift, planets retrograde. the moon does something to the air and all the sudden, people act brand new. omg in my 20’s i used to be SERIOUSLY 730. i’m talking, FLIP out on people for switching up on me. as i embark on a more zEn lifestyle, however, i am learning to embrace change. i’m beginning to accept the fact that it’s really the only thing that is guaranteed.

change. it sometimes primarily includes evolution, but other times, it just goes in circles. for me, i can swallow it if involves GROWTH of some sort. [works for me] it might hurt, but we growing?? GREAT. let’s go thru the pain together and LEARN some shit.

hello honies… thank you for logging on to my little corner of the www today, i truly appreciate you.

i got a LOT of responses about my blog from yesterday [public & private] and i was touched especially by one. before i post an excerpt of that message, i have to preface it by saying that i sincerely HOPE haitians were in no way offended by the email i posted yesterday. by no means was i attempting to judge haiti/haitians or make them out to be anything more than human beings under distress. i posted that email from boo MAINLY to illustrate to my readers one of the reasons that i don’t watch the news. that reason being- one-sided and half-assed ‘news’. i wanted to give you a small view of what is REALLY happening out there to the people of haiti and those that are there helping them because the ‘news’ would NEVER show failed attempts, only successful ones.

i want u to know that it is not all like that…there are many haitians over there who have lost everything but there are still banding together helping one another…there are many haitians who appreciate the assistance of the americans and the international community…we cant attribute the actions and words of a few as the feelings and behavior of an entire nation.

as a nation and as a people, we have endured alot…but we havent let that rob us our integrity and humanity…just like anywhere in the world there are some people who do despicable acts or unforgiving things but that is not our legacy..at our core we are loving and caring people…through all the hardships and adversity we have faced we try to rise above it, with our heads held high and our eyes fixed on God
