there are times when i get so sad… it gets hard to see the light that i KNOW surrounds me. people’s words of discouragement and disapproval usually don’t mean a damn thing to me. i am usually able to dismiss it and keep my focus on my goals. however, there are those FEW times that those words slip in and mess me up.
mostly because i respect and love the person that is uttering them.
it is at times like this that i look to the beauty of the world that is PURE, unconditional, and constant. consistency. today, that beauty is my goddaughter.
i love this child [and her big brother] so much. i love their energy and their bright exploring eyes. so much promise and excitement that lives within them. so blessed to be able to experience such greatness up close and personal….
can’t wait to see my babies next week!
