hi honies!! i was invited to a nice church only 2 blocks away from my house today and i am so glad that i went!!! it was the first time that i was in a place of worship that didn’t damn people to hell. i used to LOVE going to church. regardless of the denomination, it always gave me LIFE to be around such positivity and joy. however, one of the MAIN reasons that i stopped going to church is because i got SICK and tired of all the damn gay-bashing. i got tired of the pastor [literally] OBSESSING over gay people and how they are ruining ‘our people’ and ‘killing our kids’ - man shutthefukkUP. it was disturbing my spirit to have to be subjected to so much negativity, hate and discrimination all [supposedly] in the name of God and Jesus. and i stopped going, cold turkey.

so, how does that work exactly? you claim to be ‘of God’ and that you want to bring people to ‘the body of Christ’ [i won't even go into my own personal beliefs about the whole 'Jesus' thing...] yet, the main thing you succeed in doing is turn people OFF, and scaring them away [far away] from ANYthing related to church. smh. it’s annoying.

BUT
today was a totally different experience than anything i’ve ever seen before. it was so nice to see people of all races, gender, and sexuality all under one roof celebrating their belief in God and being POSITIVE and uplifting one another. *sigh*

it was great…. not to mention the sermon, about fighting THROUGH fear with the strength of God as your BACK-UP, was SPECIFICALLY for my black ass…

ok. i’m done now. maybe i will work on not cursing so much in my blogs…. especially on sundays. *shrug*

ok- i appreciate everyone’s input but apparently, i didn’t spell things out enough. I failed to list what is to be expected of ME: it was silly of me to just ASSume that my readers automatically just KNOW how giving, accommodating, gracious, loyal, ladylike, and overall WONDERFUL i truly am.

so in all fairness…. [and i ALWAYS try to be fair]

here is what my boo can expect at ALL TIMES:

- i will be ABLE to help YOU financially if EVER u need it.
- random gifts on the REGULAR of stuff you say you like or want.
- cook all the time, make sure you eat GOOD everyday
- clean up behind you EVERYDAY and never get mad that you throw your clothes everywhere after you take them off
- wash & fold laundry every week
- always look good, STAY lover-ready for you at ALL times–and never say no :-X
- and a million other tidbits to make sure that you are treated like a KING every time you are in my queendom.

hi honies…. i might piss some of you off, but hey, i wouldn’t be ME, if i didn’t. *cheese*

the other day, i was talking to a couple of my homegirls about how WE felt that we needed to be treated. we are all business owners and rely on ourDAMselves to keep the wheels turning in our lives. we HANDLE OUR OWN BILLS, and take care of our responsibilities like grown folk. when it comes to dating, however, it can get pretty touchy. most guys can’t deal with a strong & independent woman. they will even purposely stress her out to weaken her focus and drive.

sadly, some emotional ass women fall for it and do eventually go nuts.

those of us that know better, sit around sipping tea talking about y’all and encouraging one another and our [somewhat] old-fashioned beliefs. LOL.

here’s what it all boiled down to though:

- if you’re my man, i expect you to help me lighten my load, yes FINANCIAL load.
- i expect you to provide me [on a regular basis] with tokens of your appreciation so that i can go and do something nice for myself, yes EVERY WEEK. <~~~ to look FABULOUS for your viewing pleasure of course.
- i expect to be able to pretty much [within reason] get the things that i WANT. [i got it covered already, thanks, but DO make yourself useFUL]
- and last but definitely not least, my significant other HAS to be ABLE to make me feel secure to be with them. no, i don't feel like being the ONE to be relied on for the household bills. CLEARLY, we are a TEAM and if i have more, i will give more. BUT, for the most part, i want my boo to be the BOSS. or as dreamy fresh [@dreamhampton on twitter] calls it, BAWSE. i deserve it. period. i grew up seeing my father be that dude and i will [most certainly] accept nothing less.

and they DO say, it costs to be the BAWSE bookats. and i need me a BAWSE [correction- i GOT me a BAWSE] -*teeheehee*

*shrug* some may not like my stance, but it is what it is. that's why there are different strokes for different folks. but as for ME??

yes dammit!!! i want misterMUTHAFUKKINbig. im not ashamed. i am a princess and i want my knight in shining armor to frequent the most chivalrous sentence in the world ~~> ‘i got it’ <~~ music to my ears.

lovies, please respect yourself enough not to [knowingly] give your loyalties to someone that is making a fool out of you. don’t matter if you are the #1 or the #2, u’re still … just a NUMBER.

*side eye* and to YOU, ‘heartbreakers’, -that go around making promises of COMMITMENT to anybody that ‘looks good’ cuz u think it’s cute and ‘fun’ and you’re ‘living your life’ -get a damn hobby and UPGRADE YOURSELF before you go out seeking somebody to play with.
